The Insight
Government source selection is notoriously intricate, high-stakes, and completely siloed across different federal agencies. The process—spanning market research, multi-million dollar award decisions, and post-award evaluations—traditionally leaves users buried under massive administrative friction and compliance bottlenecks. Reporting directly to the CEO as Creative Director, my mandate was to strip away the bureaucratic layout and design an elite, human-centric product workflow for an industry that hadn't evolved in decades.

The Strategy & Execution
I oversaw the end-to-end product design and creative strategy for our two primary enterprise platforms: Bidscale Evaluation and Connect. To ground our design decisions in real-world utility, we explicitly mapped out every user persona's responsibilities and traced how they interacted with data both inside and outside the system.

  • Streamlining the Workflow: By targeting the heaviest user pain points, my team engineered collaboration features that targeted and eliminated communication silos. We prioritized optimizing the data-heavy phases of source selection, drastically reducing the time required for automated report generation.

  • Validation & Prototyping: We built out comprehensive, interactive prototypes to stress-test these UX enhancements. Through continuous feedback loops with active federal stakeholders, we validated the design frameworks and scaled them into fully operational, secure enterprise tools that successfully accelerated procurement timelines from months to weeks.
